Inkana Development is building a $6.2 million medical office building on the campus of Decatur Hospital in north Alabama.
The four-story, 55,000-square-foot facility will be connected to the main hospital on three floors and will help alleviate space needs for the hospital and third-party physicians. The estimated completion date is February 2006.
General contractor for the project is Fite Building Company of Decatur. Huntsville-based Chapman and Sisson is handling architecture and design services.
Inkana, a Birmingham-based developer of health care-related real estate, will manage and lease the building.
